Tryout Tip 29: Tumbling: Tumbling Classes

[Tumbling Score Tip:] Take tumbling classes. Tumbling is one of the hardest skills to master, so take classes well in advance so that you are ready for tryouts.

Why do this? So many people lose points in cheerleading because they don't have any tumbling skills. On the flip side, those who have tumbling are usually the ones who make the team. Just try to get some tumbling skill, either it be a forward roll, cartwheel, or even a backhandspring. Just understand that it takes time to get your tumbling skills up to par, and you cannot learn them safely overnight.

Next Tip: Tumbling: Clean it up.
